Thank you to Ted Greenberg and NBC News for coming down to Point Beach and highlighting the history of our 1936 Coast Guard station, explaining the importance of the town saving it and showing off the incredible view from the top! We’re so grateful to Congressman Smith for his tireless work in assisting us on the acquisition and to Jerry Woolley for bringing his wealth of knowledge to the piece.
One of the biggest challenges small beach towns face is the creep of more and more part time residences and rental investment properties. It lowers the year round population, lowers school enrollment and makes for a tougher environment for local businesses in the off season.
Over the last year and a half, we filmed at all of our great town traditions and events. The end result is a commercial focused not on run of the mill tourism, but on showing families from the tri-state area that Point Pleasant Beach is the best full time choice to live, work and play. We’re pretty proud of the end result!
