Paul for the People.
Paul Kanitra is currently serving strongly as Mayor of Point Pleasant Beach in Ocean County. As Mayor, Paul has made fiscal responsibility, enforcement of law, support for the police, environmental stewardship, public decency, and historic preservation driven by economic development focal points of his leadership. Before his term as Mayor, Paul was a councilman for Point Beach.
Paul's reputation as a leader who listens is known across the state and country, whether it be town hall, Trenton, or the halls of Congress.
A Commitment to Service.
Paul is the Founder and President of Lobbyit, a nationally recognized leader at the forefront of a groundbreaking movement in the often murky federal lobbying industry. Lobbyit gives a voice in government to the voiceless and is where Paul honed his expertise in making sure the little guy is always heard. Paul's unique and varied legislative experience includes work in Congress on behalf of mom and pop businesses, and many non-profit associations. Lobbyit provides a voice to those that have had little or no representation in the past.
Paul graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. He is a Board Member on the New Jersey Conference of Mayors and active in multiple philanthropic organizations. He and his wife Alora reside in his hometown Point Pleasant Beach and are always active in the community.
