Our communities are the safest when our police are fully supported and respected. As Mayor I have lead by example time and time again on this front. Whether it was a press conference standing with officers against insane child marijuana and alcohol laws or cracking down on the devastating effects of pop up parties, I have used my voice and office to always be there. Opportunistic politicians have made a habit of throwing our brave men and women in blue under the bus, ignoring public safety and shattering public trust. I have taken on the anti-police rhetoric, and misguided reforms that put criminals first.
Ensuring those who protect our communities have the resources they need to combat rising crime and protect our most precious asset - our families - is going to be the main focus of my fight in Trenton. We built a road map in Point Beach and we’ll be bringing it to the State House.
