We need to ensure our children’s life at school remains focused on academics and preparing them to be the leaders of tomorrow. This goal is lost when elected boards of education are under attack by a rogue, politically driven Attorney General and special interests. Growing up is hard, but the solution is not the government inserting itself as a mediator. We need to empower school boards to put academics first, ensure student safety and protect the rights of parents from those who let social trends and political interests steal the innocence of children and the role of families.
